With a background in construction and real estate, Jorge founded Better Place in 2007, a company specialising in interior design and civil construction. 

Previously, he established the Building Consultancy & Services division at DTZ and has since led numerous design & build projects for leading international clients, including Oracle, Apple, BMW and Pfizer.

He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

With over 20 years of experience in workplace design and strategy, Cláudia holds a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture & Design from the University of Salamanca and a degree in Interior Design from IADE. Since Better Place was founded, she has led the design and delivery of corporate spaces for leading national and international clients, including Apple, Claranet, Novabase and Bristol Myers Squibb, combining strategic vision, functionality and user-centred design.

With a degree in Architecture and a Master’s in Architecture and Sustainability, Sara also studied at the University of Florence as an Erasmus student. 
She has collaborated with several architectural practices on international projects, including in Rio de Janeiro and London. Working across architecture and design, she specialises in furniture design, combining technical precision with the development of concepts into production.

Accredited by CENFIC (Construction Industry Training Centre), Guilherme has experience as a quantity surveyor, specialising in the logistical planning and preparation of construction projects across several companies.

With a degree in Civil Engineering, Flávio joined Better Place in 2026, bringing professional experience from Portugal and Brazil. He has several years of experience in construction management and supplier coordination across public and private sector projects.

An architect registered with the Portuguese Architects’ Association, Bernardo began his career in 2017 and has since worked on a wide range of public and private sector projects, spanning residential, educational, healthcare and social facilities.

Cristina started her professional career at Kodak Portuguesa, in which she managed several work teams over a period of 22 years in addition to having worked with Madeira House. Her source of inspiration: The Readers’ Club which she founded two years ago, swimming and photography.
